Lucas Hamilton is an illustrator and painter based in Indianapolis, Indiana. He has a wide background in styles, ranging from realistic to cartoon.

Lucas cannot remember a time where he did not enjoy drawing. It was an escape for him from the real world. However, for a long time it was just a hobby. But, in middle school Lucas found the exciting world of comic books, another place he could escape. Comic books made him realize he could turn his passion for art into a career. Throughout high school, Lucas practiced with graphite, color pencil, and charcoal. In college he broadened his skills with painting, photography, and digital illustration.

Although, Lucas has a fundamental understanding of all mediums, he considers himself mostly an alcohol marker and airbrush artist and his style leans heavily into comics. He says it is his way to pay respect to the sequential arts for all they have done for him. Lucas makes art because it brings fantasy and excitement into the mundane world. He would love to bring some excitement into your life.
